AMDOR offers three varieties of optional sill plates designed to provide a smooth protective sealing surface, complete the visual framing of your door, and in some cases to reduce water ingression. Our original sill plate offers the convenience of a sweep-out design with an interior water stop.
The majority of builders now offer a step-down compartment design to reduce the ingression of water and debris. For step-down applications, AMDOR offers two models with varying depths. Please consult our drawings or contact your Territory Manager for specification support. Over the years we have also partnered with a number of builders to produce proprietary side frames to suit specific build characteristics. Following an engineering review and sign-off process AMDOR will run and stock a custom side frame that is proprietary to your firm.
